The airstrip features a gravel runway, designated 02/20, measuring approximately 5,965 feet (1,818 meters) in length, accommodating various aircraft suitable for regional travel.

The airstrip receives daily flights, with morning departures from Entebbe at 7:30 am, arriving at 9:10 am, and afternoon flights departing at 12:30 pm, arriving at 1:50 pm. Return flights from Kihihi depart at 9:30 am and 2:05 pm, respectively. These schedules are designed to align with travelers’ itineraries, allowing seamless connections to various lodges and tour operators in the region.
